An Electric Motor

An Electric Motor is one of the top most important parts of the ceiling fan. Without electric motor a ceiling fan will not able to run or function.

Blades

Blades are also called one of the six paddles. Normally these blades are manufactured with wood, plastic, MDF and metal. These blades build up on top of the motor or on the side of the electric motor. Generally the ceiling fans for residents have 4 to 5 blades. And most of the industrial fans have 3 blades. But some of the modern and advance art fans have one or more than five blades.

Metal Arms

Metal Arms also called blade irons, which attach the fan blades to the electric motor.

Flywheel

Flywheel is connected to the electric motor shaft. Older flywheels may turn into fragile and break and it is a very usual reason of the failure of fan. You must have the information of how you can replace the flywheel. Replacing the flywheel needs unattached the wiring and eliminating the switch housing to get access to the shaft lock screw.

Rotor

Rotor is a substitute of blade iron. The rotor gets and protects the nut bolts and blades right to the electric motor. This part of the fan removing most balance troubles and reducing exposed clasps.
